FAQs

What All Makes/Models does EVFleet have?

Tesla (Model S, 3, & Y), Ford (Mach E & Lightning), Rivian R1T, Karma Revero GT, Volkswagen ID4, Porsche Taycan, Audi E-Tron, & Hyundai Ioniq. We continue to purchase additional EVs as they come available.

What States does EVFleet currently service?

Our shop is located on the East side of Indianapolis. However, you can lease from us if you live anywhere in Indiana or Illinois.

How much does it cost to lease with EVFleet?

You can lease a Tesla Model S for $240 a week + $0.15 per mile. No milage fee for any miles over 1,000 within a 1 week period. For example if you drive 1,500 miles within a week your invoice would be: $240 + $150 (1,000 miles x $0.15/mile) = $390

We also have other makes and models that are available with differing price points- ask us whats available and we can get you pricing information! Am I required to pay weekly?

How does invoicing work?

We send invoices every Wednesday for weekly. You’ll be invoiced for upcoming base rate ($240 in example above) and milage from prior week ($0.15/mile limit of 1,000). If you are being invoiced monthly there is a 10% discount on the base rate.

Do I need to register the vehicle?

No. The vehicle will be registered to EVFleet and we handle renewing registrations each year.

Will the registration to EVFleet prohibit my eligibility for ride-share services?

No. You can drive for ride-share with a vehicles registration in a company name.

How much does it cost to apply and get approved?

Nothing. The application and approval process is 100% free.

Will EVFleet run my credit?

We do not run your credit prior to your lease. We will conduct a basic criminal background check.

How much is the initial cost?

You will need to secure insurance on the vehicle before you are cleared to drive it. The cost of insurance will vary depending on the person. We will provide you with the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) so you can call your insurance company and get an estimate. There is also a security deposit of $500. So initial costs are insurance + $500 security deposit + first week or month payment.

How do I charge the EV?

During your initial onboarding process, we will show you how and where you can charge your electric vehicle. In addition, we will provide a charging cord and adapters so that you can charge at home.

What are the automobile insurance requirements?

Full comprehensive and collision coverage with deductible equal to your security deposit. You will need ride-share coverage if you are doing any driving for Uber/Lyft.
